Story : The first two episodes of Spiderman shows the relationships between the Hero Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire), Mary Jane (Dunst) and Harry (Franco James). In Spiderman-3, Harry is mightily pissed off as he thinks Peter killed his father. Later he fancies himself as the new Green Goblin. Mean While a convict Flint (Haden) escapes from the police. Peter knows that Flint is the real killer of his Uncle Ben. Until then Flint becomes 'Sandman', a huge mud monster. A new photographer of Bugle has beef with Peter and later turns out into a Venom. Sandman and Venom joins hands to put an end to Spiderman. How Spiderman fights with the monsters with the help of his friend Harry is the rest of the story.

The third part of Spiderman carries an emotional depth with some missing ingredients. The screenplay of the film is average on the whole. The screenplay goes down step by step in the first half but picks up after the interval.

The direction is ultimate with spectacular action scenes as well as heart touching emotions. Half a billion dollars are spent for the special effects which are really worth watching. Overall, the major credit for the film goes to Sam Raimi.

Artists Performance :

Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker : The spiderman did a good job in the film. When compared with previous spiderman's series, Tobey's performance was up to the mark in his film. His comedy in the second half is awesome but he didn't work out well with emotional episodes.

Dunst as Mary Jane : She has got a lengthy role in this film when compared to her previous films. Her action in emotional scenes excelled. She did a fair job.

James as Harry : His character was not suitable for him. He lacked proper face expressions when he suddenly changes to a new Goblin.

How is the movie?

Spider-Man 3 is an outstanding piece of action-fantasy cinema only for the character 'Spiderman' fans. The story of this film is little different from the comic-book .Expectations could have more to do with the standards and promises set by the first two films. But this one doesn't deliver the same. The climactic four-way showdown is truly something to behold.

Final Verdict : Over all, it disappoints the audience who had watched the earlier films of Spiderman. But if you are watching Spiderman for the first time, then it seems to be an above average flick. No doubt the SPIDEY will cram multiplexes around the globe and get good collections at the box office. A must watchable flick of visual effects.
